The Challenge
     Your town's culture has been created in large part by government-run schools and corporate media providers.  If your home is in the USA, for example, this means that much of your town's culture reflects the values and priorities of Washington DC and your state legislature.  For better or worse, corporate media executives from Hollywood and New York City have also contributed to your town's culture.   What about LOCAL culture?
Community Coaches are
the solution (yeah, that's you).  Just look at all that talent walking the streets of your town!  Appreciation and Encouragement will embolden the shy and humble singers, comedians, actors, and dancers until one day your fellow humans will notice...

  Hey, Everyone is a celebrity in My Town. 

    A Community Coach knows this, and wants to get the rest of the town on board.  He or she offers encouragement to lovers of the arts and entertainment.  Most everyone doubts their own gifts. What many don't realize is that TALENT may be developed by anyone with a will to learn and common sense.  On this page, we will offer ideas on how you may choose to inspire fellow town members to develop their talent and promote new projects in the visual arts, music, theater, film-making and more.


              Produce a Local TV Show

You Can Create a Show on Any Budget
You only have a Smart Phone?  No Problem.  There are YouTube millionaires who started with only a Smart Phone.  Plug-in microphones help achieve high quality audio.  Use natural light through windows for indoor shots.  When shooting outdoors, find subdued light, perhaps beneath the trees, or wait to shoot later in the day, when the sunlight is not as harsh.

Start Spreading the News
     Your town is transforming itself.  Highlight the Community Coaches who are supporting the growth of your town's local culture.  Document how skill-sharing empowers local food producers, business daredevils, and creative artists.  With increased confidence, they are bringing exciting new projects, shows, and services to your town....there is plenty to discover and celebrate.  Broadcast videos that highlight theater directors, media centers that offer resources, and some of the rising local stars in the arts, business, and volunteer services.

Your Town's Artists Front and Center

      Nearly every organization is looking for volunteers.  The local Community Center, The Boys and Girls Club, your town's Theater Production Company.  You are not the only one who is passionate about the arts.  Offer workshops in your specialty, or coach others to excel in their chosen niche.  Find materials on coaching others to succeed on the Community Coaching page.
